【Report for June 12th】Happy, even though we have started the rainy season
The rainy season has started in Tohoku, and it was a dull and cloudy day. The students and teachers seemed to was to spend their free time calmly, such as playing card games indoors.
Kenta Aoshima, a member of the Diet, visited our school today and interacted with the children. We were able to give out our business cards that we made ourselves.
[1st grade moral education]
In the 1st grade moral education class, we talked about "Chanto no tatsujin" (Someone who can do everything properly). Comparing the pictures, which one is correct? We know that being "proper" is important, but what does it mean to be "proper".
We discussed about what it would mean to be doing something properly, and here is some of the answers we got:
An example of being "proper" is organising your bags. If you do not keep them organised properly, there is a risk that someone may fall and get injured. In particular, first-grade students are smaller, and have trouble with their balance, so it is essential to keep things neat and tidy.
After class, the teacher asked them is their cubbyholes were "proper", so we checked them.
It's been three months since the entrance ceremony, and the gloomy sky from the rainy season is making us feel a little out of sorts, but we want to do our best as masters of "Chanto" who wont lose to the rain.
