【Kodomoen】 Imagine...
Today is a note without pictures.
We want you to imagine it yourselves!
This wonderful day starts with a picture book being read…
It is being read in a soft voice that you can barely hear.
Pay attention to each person's expression, and if they're making any gestures…
The children appear to be immediately drawn into the world of this story.
Sometimes the tone of voice changes, sometimes its a powerful voice…
The nursery room transforms into a theatre…
And this all started with that small, small voice…
That gave birth to this place.
Each designer's storytelling techniques are all different…
They could be really funny! Or really nice!
It was forecast that yellow sand will blow everywhere today…
黄砂に~吹かれてぇ~♪ きこえる~ぅ歌ぁ~は~♪
♪It's not a painful love song that I forgot, because I wanted to forget.♪
I lost it because I didn't want to forget it…
(My age is showing…)
What I heard from the nursery room was "That song that is unique to this season".
Anyway, we feel that Monday is a difficult day…
We are aware of the new connections we made last week and we are starting daycare looking forward to the week ahead. We may feel reluctant, or feel that our bodies are heavy, or that Friday will never arrive…
But that makes weekends at home all the more meaningful right?
Thats what we dare to challenge!
Aiming to be "a school where people want to go on Monday!"
In one kindergarten room, we engaged in creative activities with paint. Arranging the beautiful colours on the palette. Beautiful colours mixed on the paper. Feeling the joy of mixing colours. We imagined ourselves. It's far from the colours we used to be, and we are going to be colours we can never go back to.
But when you dare to repeat it, the children will notice! Don't add more than you need to!
This kind of playing, and the sight of children reminded me of a meeting with some designers last week…
In the course of discussing learning, and creating important "things" in Yumenomori, one designer said, "I want to create something from repeated failures." When that was said, that was the moment when "confidence" became "conviction" for us.
(My age is showing…)
To the designers, if you have ever had this thought…
Yumenomori will always continue to be Yumenomori. And that "failure" is the result of your actions. It just doesn't fit the children in front of you. It will definitely fit other children you may meet someday. It becomes "Items in your own drawer". We think the items you have which have shined at some point, the more you have, the more of you will shine, not only in childcare, but for yourself as well.
Thats what we wanted to tell you…We feel sorry for ourselves not being able to say that on the spot… We had to leave the Kodomoen on the way here today, it was a pity that we couldn't see the children much…
It's best to see and feel, but what are you doing now? What happened to your continuation? It's fun to imagine stuff like that. Why? Its funny because each designer has their own wonderful intentions…
