[kodomoen] Let's look down!
A collection of songs compiled in the late Heian period
Ryōjin Hisho
Are we born to play?
Are we born to play?
When I hear the voices of children playing
Even my body is shaken
This is a poem I came across at a training session a long time ago, but if it was something to introduce at such a training session...
There is no room for denying children's play...
It would be natural to take it as a positive argument for play, so to speak...
Time passed, and I met many children...
The more I played with children and spent meaningful days...
I feel that my interpretation is not wrong...
Because when I hear a conversation between a designer and a child, or the voices of children playing, my body naturally moves...
I am moved by the sight of children playing with their heads down...
Downward feelings = a tendency for things to lose momentum
No way! That can't be!
Children teach us that "looking down" means "being single-minded", right?
Are you playing a staring game with sand and water...?
Are you looking for bugs hiding in the grass...?
You're feeling a strange sensation with your body...?
We've got a trickle of rice~♪
Flowers, nuts, snow, puddles, and even fields are all below...
I love the dark tanned undersides of children's necks...
Children who play carefully always have their eyes on their feet...
The things that are going round and round in their heads are scattered below...
And because the sun, the wind, the blue sky, and the rainclouds are watching over them, they can look down with peace of mind...
Going back to the opening verse...
Were we born to play (and learn)?
Were we born to play with life?
The first semester has ended, and it will be a while before all the children of Yume no Mori will be together at the kindergarten...
But at home, at the kindergarten, or wherever, let's look down and play carefully!
Adults and children alike, let's get the undersides of our necks dark and meet again!
The rainy season is almost over... Enjoy a variety of summers with your family!
As a milestone, we held the closing ceremony for the first semester...I can see the growth in their eyes as they listen to the talks! When we are all gathered here again...I wonder what adventures they will embark on as they grow even more, and what stories they will write...I can't wait to see what adventures they will embark on as they grow even more...
