For the opening ceremony of the school building Yumenomori, they grew marigolds in planters which were created by the specialist agriculture students, and made madeleines using kiwis and strawberries from Okuma.

It was a wonderful time where I felt the connection with Futaba Mirai Gakuen High School…

And there was another happy thing…

I was reunited with one of the students after 12 years.

In other words, this is a child from when the kindergarten in Okuma town in Aizuwakamatsu City reopened after the earthquake.

Soon, we received heartwarming support from all over the country, but… we restarted from the beginning… there were no desks, no chairs, and no crayons.

In such a situation, children played with fallen twigs and flower petals in the garden… Children who played all day with only newspapers…

We didn't have this, we didn't have that! For me, a childcare worker who was caught up in the overwhelming school year and class framework, this little "teacher" changed my way of thinking as a kindergarten teacher by about 1,260 degrees… Teaching me how I should be as a kindergarten teacher. He is a great teacher who gave me this idea…

I vow to teach these "teachers" the philosophy of what a "designer" should be!
