【A daily record】Learning trajectory

In the comprehensive learning period, "Future Design Time," the students looked back on last year's activities in the Book Plaza and announced their results and challenges.
First up was the vegetable group! Some said they didn't like vegetables...

The hypothesis: "If I grow them myself, I might be able to eat even the vegetables I don't like."

The vegetables didn't grow as expected in the school field.
So what was wrong...?
They realized that the drainage was poorer than in Matsunaga's field. They experienced "finding differences by comparing."

And was the hypothesis proven?
As a result, they were able to eat the vegetables better than before.

The goal is "to make people smile."

The flower group not only planted flowers, but also tried making dried flowers!
"Why do you take out dried flowers gently?"
(Because they're dry?)
The fifth graders answered.
"Because they're dry and have no moisture."
"Dry" means "without moisture."
It was a convincing answer.

They processed the dried flowers into resin and sold them.
How did they decide the price of the items?
They discussed the cost of materials, profits, etc.
And how will they use the proceeds...?
A surprise bouquet of flowers was given to last year's graduates!
It was an experience that made the graduates smile, and the students themselves smiled as well.

The Animal Group split into a pet group and a livestock group.

The goal of the Animal Group is to "know the importance of life."
We want to say the real "Itadakimasu."
We say "Itadakimasu" casually when eating.
What does this word mean?
What feelings do we have when we say it?
We think about "life" by interacting with living creatures.
We think it's a theme that we should continue to think about while we're alive.

Flowers on the road we casually walk
Dried flowers displayed in the corner of the classroom
The quails and fish in the aquarium in the science lab
The fields on the grounds
The remains of last year's learning remain.
