【Kodomoen】Yoshikoi! Yosakoi! (I'm ready for Yosakoi!)
In Okuma, students from Okuma Junior High School have traditionally performed "Yosakoi Soran'' at the town's sports festival.
At first, the girls performed "yosakoi'' and the boys did "group gymnastics." Eventually, the whole school continued to perform.
Dressed in traditional black "happi" coats passed down from their seniors…
Their dynamic appearance was brave, and splendid…
Even after the earthquake, the tradition was passed down and connected to sports days and sports festivals for children and junior high school students…
It has returned to Okuma and will be performing at the Sports Festival again this year!
"Yosakoi" originated from the "Yosakoi Festival" in Kochi Prefecture and
spread to various places…
It is said that it comes from "Yosakoi" (Welcome at night) in Tosa dialect…
If Fukushima Prefecture was its birthplace, It may have been called "Bankatako"…
At the Yosakoi Festival, dancers dressed up in a variety of elaborate costumes, dance
wildly, sometimes aggressive, sometimes glamorously…
It's looks like it's going to be a lively festival…
If that's the case, we don't care about the "style" or "movement"…
We just need to bring our "Naruko" (Wooden instrument) and make a lot of noise!
Oh yeah! First of all, that's fine!
Through activities like this…
I think it's wonderful to be able to be silly…
I find that kind of attitude really cool!
"Acting silly" and "being silly" are completely different…
"Silly" here is not a negative word…
In fact, it may refer to what we aspire to be…
Without a spirit of challenge, we cannot be silly…
Flexible thinking cannot be born from feeling "embarrassed" or "uncool"…
If you pretend to think you understand, but turn away when you say "I don't know", "knowing" will be further away…
After all, if you are "silly", you can keep learning forever, right?
I want to be that kind of person, and I want to be more like that!
"Lunch" started in the lunch room after preparing the tables…
It's always a nice sight to see…
This is the "Dokidoki Lunch Room" in Manabiya Yumenomori…
This is clearly a room made for eating meals…
But it's located between the music room and the home economics room. It is a common space that can sometimes become a "plaza" or a "hall''…
It is a place that is "throbbing".
In this atmosphere, we eat lunch together, which has a different nature and personality from the nursery room…
What kind of "seasonings" add to the "taste" of the children?
Both meal designers and cooks put their efforts into creating the best school lunches.
