"Yosakoi" originated from the "Yosakoi Festival" in Kochi Prefecture and
spread to various places…

It is said that it comes from "Yosakoi" (Welcome at night) in Tosa dialect…
If Fukushima Prefecture was its birthplace, It may have been called "Bankatako"…

At the Yosakoi Festival, dancers dressed up in a variety of elaborate costumes, dance
wildly, sometimes aggressive, sometimes glamorously…
