Before the day of the closing ceremony, the Town Hall entrance group and the resident welfare centre group have each made "certain preparations". After the long preparation, the "thank you party" is finally here. This "thank you party" is a party where the children give a summary of words of gratitude to the people of each facility and give a final thank you.

After a long construction period, the new school building is finally ready to welcome the children. With that, we will also be saying goodbye to the buildings we have used as a school for 4 months. We can't deny that we were a little confused when we heard that we would be renting two facilities and separating the spaces for multiple grades. However, thanks to the warm cooperation of everyone at the Town Hall, the Council of Social Welfare, and everyone in the community, the children were able to spend a very fulfilling first semester.

The office entrance group visited the mayor's office and said "thank you". We told him that we will do our best in the new school building.

In addition, we went around to each department and said "thank you". Despite the fact that they were very busy, the staff stood up as soon as they saw the children coming and listened to the children's greeting seriously.

When the children said "Thank you very much!", the warm responses were "Good luck on your studies in the new school!" and "Come and visit us any time!". The children were quite nervous in front of a large number of adults, but they happily accepted the words we received from everyone.

The school song was performed at the community welfare centre. The "thank you" message sent this time was coloured with the colourful caps that were used in the "Flower made of caps" artwork that was made by the 1st and 3rd grade students. 
In addition, handmade bath bombs created by the Kusunoki class were presented. They were able to express our gratitude by handing them over.

I think that not only us at school, but also the people in the facility were even more worried about the "children spending their school life in a facility, instead of a school."The facility was opened early, even though there were no residents, other than the staff, and we received various support so that the children could lead a safe school life. Thanks to all of you, the children had fun at school, and were able to welcome their summer vacation full of energy. Thank you very much to all the facilities who watched the children's days gently and warmly. In the new school building, we will use the kindness we have received from everyone to further deepen our learning by valuing the children's own preferences. Thank you all for your continued support of our children.

And today's closing ceremony has finally arrived. Representatives of the 1st and 5th grades presented their memories of the first semester and their summer vacation goals. After the closing ceremony, everyone enjoyed talking about memories and talking about what they are looking forward to during their summer vacation. GM Nango asked the children to do two things: "Do what you want to do and do what you can do during summer vacation" and "to remember the milestones". We are very excited to hear everyones "Summer vacation story" after summer vacation.

After finishing todays activites, we all cleaned up the facility that has taken care of us. The desks and chairs were also put away, and each thing returned to it's original positions. At the Resident Welfare Centre, a child shouted "This is really the last time, so let's go and say 'thank you' to the people at the facility." Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to all members of the Social Welfare Centre.

In commemoration of the end, the Town Hall entrance group climbed the back mountain that always watched over everyone. We all took a commemorative photo with the new school building visible from the top in the background.

School life in the new building will finally start from the second semester. For the new semester that will exceed everyone's excitement, all the staff will work on preparations throughout summer vacation. Everyone, let's meet again in the new semester in good spirits!
