【kodomoen】Budding "empathy"

"Forest" is a symbol of diversity. That's what I want Yume no Mori to be like as well.

In the past, Japan may have been a ``bamboo forest''-like society.
They were also not tolerant of recognizing the differences that each person had.
It is also a single island nation,
As a country that has not actively accepted immigrants,
Naturally, literacy regarding diversity is probably low.
But now it's different.
The concept of "diversity and inclusion"
It's starting to take root.
In other words, if "diversity" is taken for granted in this day and age,
What we need now is what lies beyond that.
I think it's important to think about what kind of power is needed.
Because of the diversity, there are many challenges and problems.
I believe that "empathy" is necessary.
This is one of the values we hold dear at Yume no Mori.

I had a chance to ride the school bus...
A young child looks out the car window and sees working cars in action.
He tried his best to explain it to me...
The "excavator" that digs the ground is said to be "strong and powerful!"
Seeing the "dump truck" that uses its power to load scooped up soil
"I'm like my dad," he says with a smile...
I couldn't help but want to peek inside his head...
At that time, a large bus passed in front of me,
"Let's fill it up and hurry!" he said...
So we asked him about his favorite "working car"...
He answered, “Shobousha”…
"I see. It's red and has a ladder, isn't it cool?" I said...
"That's not true! Shobosha is easy!" she said...

We breathe soul into even "cars," and what are they thinking?
He is imagining how he feels!
While feeling the sadness of the cherry blossom blizzard...
I felt spring as I saw the budding of "empathy"...
It is a ``power'' that should be carefully cultivated and honed from early childhood.

Today is “Koguma no Kai”
Let's all celebrate the birthday child of the month!
Unfortunately, "Today's main character" was absent...
rest assured! We will celebrate it later...
So, it's question time!

“What do you want to be when you grow up?”Without hesitation, I say "Oisha-san"...I'm rooting for you!

Today's story gift is "Three Goats' Garagaradon"
This may be the first time for new kindergarteners...
Actually, this operetta of "Three Goats Garagaradon"
Last year, at a "congratulations party" for children graduating...
This was performed by kindergarten graduates and us designers...

It's been over a month since then...
The children who were watching the show at that time and who have now progressed to the 2-year-old class...
Since then, I've been wearing a mask every day...every day!

The songs and the lines are so good that I could do without the CD...

“Well, I never get tired of it…” I definitely want to say that…

It’s really amazing what starts with children’s “love”!
