【Report for May 30th】The flower of learning blooms

A small stag beetle wandered into Manabiya Yumenomori this morning.

Everyone was very excited to meet our new and rare guest!

"What kind of stag beetle?" "Is it a male or female?"

More and more questions and answers arise after the appearance of books and tablets.

"It's a male stag beetle!" "They eat jelly and bananas!"

We couldn't just lock him in a room made of cardboard.

"Let's make Mr. Kokuwa's (Beetle) room!" They left to go make a home for the beetle.

The research said to make a soft bed of soil, and fallen leaves. We also added a big branch to make it easier to hide. We hope the stag beetle is satisfied with his new home.

The white butterfly larva that our 3rd grade students had carefully observed had unfortunately been killed by a wild moth. "Thank you for everything." We made a small grave in the white clover field and put our hands together in prayer.

After the prayer, a white butterfly was laying new eggs in the blossoms. "Oh! It laid some eggs!".

What kind of discoveries will we make tomorrow in the Forest of Learning?
