【Report for June 9th】 Strawberry Jam Delivery

Continuing from last week, we practiced for the sports test today with the cooperation of Tomioka Elementary and Junior High School.

We had planned to practice for the competition outside, but due to the rain, we practiced indoors, in which we focussed on the indoor sports. We were able to practice using various equipment, such as repetitive side jumps and long sitting forward bends.

After returning to the school, the 3rd grade students headed to the mayor's office for a mission. This mission is important as they were delivering the strawberry jam that they made with the Rainbow master yesterday to the mayor.

Everyone introduced themselves, and handed each other their business cards while greeting each other. The students handed him the strawberry jam they had made yesterday and stated that they made it together. They suggested spreading it over bread, and want to hear his opinion.

The 2nd and 3rd grade students should get along better with their teachers! With this goal, we played bingo to get the signitures of the teachers. They got a lot of signitures and stamps from a number of teachers, and were able to get to know them a little more.

This week, we had many opportunities to give out business cards to people in the area. How many of the people who live and work in Okuma have we been able to distribute them to? From now on we would like to continue to carry out exchanges using business cards, self-introductions, and create relationships when we first meet face-to-face. We hope that the number of acquaintances we gain will get bigger every day.
