【Daily Record】 Why do we work?

They wear a plastic bag to prevent their clothes from getting dirty with calligraphy ink. To make it even more comfortable to wear, they attached tape to each other and make adjustments.

At Yumenomori, the theme is "realizing the well-being of individuals and society," and we promote exploratory learning by calling the "Living Environment Studies" class and the "Period for Integrated Studies" class, "Future Design Time."
This Monday, powerful helpers came to the 9th grade class "Future Project." These are Ms. Nii and Ms. Yatagawa from "Oriai Co. Ltd." "Oriai" is a company that supports the challenges of the younger generations, and they will be involved in the progress of the future project for 9th grade students.

Two members of Oriai, and our 9th grade students.

The goal of the "Future Project" is to give a concrete form to what the students have learned during the "Future Design" class by the 9th grade. The 9th grade students have tried various things since their days in Aizu, and have had many experiences that even adults have never had before.

Advice from real working-class adults is very helpful.

The 9th grade students have been working on town-building initiatives in social studies since the first semester, and in this "Future Project" they will have a "entrepreneur" experience from a different perspective.
So what kind of company will they start? When starting a business, you need to think about what you want the company to do. They started by looking back at themselves and taking small steps. Also, they thought about what they want to do, and what is connected to the core of their work, and we can see that they are deepening their own thinking.

Even if you have various "dreams'' of what you want to become, when you become an adult you may realize that "it's different after all.'' I think that by trying to do what you want to do and become what you want to be during school, the contours of your dreams will become clearer. We will all support their future project with the help of Oriai and the local community.

It's been raining for the past few days. In the new school building, the children can often be seen playing in the arena during recess and lunch breaks. Today they played soccer with all their might with a designer who has soccer experience, and by the end of the break everyone was sweating.

A theatre workshop is currently being carried out by all members of Yumenomori. I am saddened that I cannot tell you the full story, but I would like to tell you that everyone is working together to ensure that the people who will watch the play can enjoy it. Please take a look at the performance rehearsal below.
